I spent a number of months working in Galway, Ireland. On weekends, I covered a lot of the West Coast including hiking to the top of Crough Patrick. The pilgrims who make that hike without shoes must be possessed. I was also gifted with a helicopter ride from Galway down to Co. Claire's Cliffs of Moher. So, some of these shots are from a perspective most do not get.
An awesome history that I never before knew. A secular, yet still Islamic-modest, culture I haven't before encountered. Food I want to eat every day! Accommodating, warm people, some of whom simply want to practice their English, much to my relief, having difficulty myself learning even the don't be-an-American-tourist basics.
